Heathenism

It's so important to understand pagan traditions as part of being inclusive people. This You Tube is terrific for understanding more about Heathenism. It is a discussion between two academics, but not dry at all. Heathenism is a form of Northern European paganism. One thing I learned from this video is that many Heathens are re-constructionists, meaning they look to the past to reconstruct practices in the current time. Additionally, Heathens have written "lore" that they draw on heavily. This is in contrast to most Wiccans, who do not have historical "lore" to draw upon and may not need that either. All our pagan traditions have much to celebrate within them and heathenism is no exception.
