A visual of my spirituality

The Artemis II voyage is showing us amazing images of our planet, moon and sun. This image from Artemis II perfectly expresses my spirituality. The relationship between the Earth, the Sun, and Moon is what Pagans adore, praise, attune to and find magical. Sure, I know about all the science of the voyage and NASA efforts, but that doesn't take away the magnificence of our planet. It enhances it.

The dance between the Earth and Sun is our ritual Wheel of the Year. To pause, contemplate and celebrate that dance helps us be in alignment with those forces. To be in alignment with planetary forces can only help us in our own specific lives, Think of a river flowing gently over smooth rocks. If we attune ourselves to each point on our Wheel, we can flow through life, finding ways to navigate our troubles was ease. This does not mean we won't have problems, or sorrow. It's how we meet those problems or sorrows. The constancy of the seasons is always there for us. We can count on the flow of life to continue. Each point on the Wheel can offer wisdom and remind us of our worth and love.

The dance between the Earth and the Moon brings another level of energy movement to our lives. As the moon pulls the tides, as we are 60% water, the flow of energy between the new moon and full pulls us inward and outward underscoring how much balance is part of the Universe. How looking at the full moon, which all humans can see, binds us together as travelers on this planet. How going deeply inward at the new moon engages us to integrate our lives and prepare for the next phase.

That we have these images from Artemis II to regard and contemplate brings me such joy. While we recognize the unseen world in our Pagan traditions, the seen world also shows us so much to inspire our spirituality. Whether we look up, down, in or out, the magnificence of life is always there to bring us to awe.
